Jessica is a dedicated mother of six children, a passionate homeschooling educator, a versatile substitute teacher, and an active participant in the local 4-H community. With her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to education and community engagement, Jessica has become a valued figure among parents, students, and community alike.
As a mother of six, Jessica's journey into homeschooling began when she recognized the need for a more personalized and tailored approach to her children's education. Over the years, she has developed a deep understanding of various teaching methodologies and learning styles to cater to each child's unique needs. Jessica has honed her skills in creating engaging and effective lesson plans, incorporating innovative educational resources, and fostering a supportive learning environment within her home.
Jessica's dedication to education extends beyond her own children, as she has served as a substitute teacher in her local school district for several years. Her ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and establish meaningful connections with students has earned her the admiration and respect of both students and faculty. Jessica's patience, empathy, and creativity allow her to effectively guide students through various subjects and ensure a positive learning experience.
In addition to her role as an educator, Jessica is an active member of the local 4-H community. Recognizing the value of hands-on learning and community involvement, she actively participates in leading 4-H clubs and events. Jessica's involvement with 4-H has provided her with opportunities to mentor and inspire young individuals, teaching them valuable life skills, fostering leadership qualities, and promoting a sense of civic responsibility.

Stacey is the mother of 4 adult children and grandmother to two young grandsons. Educated as a nurse and later earning an M.Ed. in education, she has a history in and a passion for substance misuse prevention, community building, and empowering individuals. She has worked in many different service areas including geriatric and private care management, community outreach, tutoring, after-school programming, and, most recently, as a family advocate in a public school setting. She is proud to serve on various non-profit boards in Sullivan County and has been a 4H leader for the past 5 years. Stacey will be one of the Guides at Micah.
